THESE COMICS AREN'T (just)FOR KIDS

Brimming with artistic talent and raw energy, there are assembled in this year's Expo a team of animation and graphic artists, product designers and more that are being incubated in the FAME Renaissance Business Development Center on Adams Blvd. in Los Angeles.

Imajimation staff has labored over getting their ideas to market and they will have for sale the most unique figurines that emanated from their comic series "Blokhedz."

Click the comic at lower left to enlarge or browse around the website of www.blokhedz.tv, which issues the Blokhedz comics and the figurines.  These comics aren't for children with a high-end price point (around $55) for what some might see as just an action figure.  Rather they are one-of-a-kind art pieces that will grow in value as they become more collectible.

Brandon Schultz, president,  is the oldest of the young bloods, at 30 he is married with children, but the twenty something's are the twins, Mark and Mike Davis, art director and production designer and the Graphic Designer Kobina Yankah.

In their own words:

We are in the business of creating and licensing phat content in all existing and future forms of media. ImajiMation is founded on three primary principles: know your audience; deliver uncompromising quality; do it now.

Our target audience is the street savvy, multitasking tastemakers of Urban Kulture. It is our belief that this fluid amalgamation of eyeballs goes beyond any archaic demographic, to a new space where funk, anime, hip-hop and graffiti all collide. This is the space where ImajiMation lives.

And they make good on these words.  At their website www.imajimation.com they have flash animations that are sweeeeeet.  Checkout the one they did for Adidas or the Blokedz movie.  Click around!
