Flags, as well as banners, are used to set the atmosphere for worship to exalt Jesus and His name before men and also, before the powers of darkness. In Exodus 17:15, when the Israelites defeated the Amalekites, Moses created a place of worship declaring God is Jehovah Nisi—The LORD is our Banner. During worship or during ministry time, our flags/banners proclaim the dominion of God’s kingdom and mark our spiritual territory. They also serve to invite and usher in the presence of Holy Spirit.

In worship, the flag/banner may be speaking to the heart of the people toward God, or God’s heart toward His people. It declares His awesome power, reminds Him, and us of His eternal word and covenant promises. In warfare, the flag/banner proclaims the Kingdom of God, and declares our authority over the powers of darkness. 6: 15 PM Melodious is certainly a group fueled by the sweet inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The groups name “Melodious” is based upon the fifth chapter of Ephesians verse 19, loosely translated, to make melody to the LORD. Melodious has just completed their first self-titled CD, and prays that all that hears it will be blessed. Their vision is to have a heart for God, to boldly stand on His word, to seek His face for guidance, and minister His word through gifts of song, dance, drama and any Christian means necessary.

7:20 PM Sedric Deon, Starlight International Productions, was born in Jackson, Alabama where he first started singing. Sedric moved to Long Beach, California where he later got a record deal with a record label called “Go Beat Record Company” out of London, England. His song called “Carry Me Home” went to Number One on the UK record charts. Moving forward, Sedric has made it possible for all of us to hear the music God has given him. Jimone@charter.net

Urban Hip-Hop Gospel has a new home in South Los Angeles! The increasingly popular Faithwalk Productions is noted for providing a platform for Contemporary Gospel & Holy Hip Hop artists to minister & display their artistry, talents and skills.
 

This unique move has now achieved additional momentum at the Love & Faith Christian Center, the House of Judah, home of the daily food, clothing and ministry outreach, “Coffee On The Corner”. Pastor Colette Cruz and Daryl Baskerville of Faithwalk Productions have combined their efforts and expertise to present a cutting edge and unprecedented weekly platform in South Los Angeles.

Women of Prominence is a mission of necessity that was established in 1996. Young adolescent girls are mentored through bridging the gap between adolescence and womanhood by minimizing or diminishing the present-day pitfalls. Women of Prominence addresses issues of peer pressure, latch key environments, sex to achieve popularity, over indulgence and embarrassment due to poverty.
