Client of the Year Competition
Stylist can nominate their best client (no limit
as to how many clients each stylist can submit).
Stylist must submit the following by August 31,
2005
· Name of Client
· Stylist name and contact information
· Paragraph explaining why their client
should be Client of the year
· $50 entry fee
Winners receive:
· Client receives $600.00 worth of free
services
· Stylist receives $400.00 bonus
Barbering Competition
The Barbering Competition will take place at
Center Stage on the Expo floor. There will be two competitions,
one for Professionals and one for Students.
Entry Rules:
· Professionals (25) minute time limit
· Students (30) minute time limit
· Must cut at least ½ inch of hair off
· Use of own tools, no borrowing or shared
tools on stage
· Fade haircuts are acceptable-complete
baldheads are not
· Pre-cutting is not allowed
· Any Method of cutting is allowed
· Pay Entry Fee: Professionals ($100),
Students ($50)
Winners Receive:
· Barbering Award
· Professionals: 1st Place- $1500, 2nd
Place- $300, 3rd Place- $200
· Students: 1st Place- $500, 2nd Place-
$300, 3rd Place- $100
This competition will take place on the Main
Stage at 7pm.
Entry Rules:
· Finishing time 1hr (6pm-7pm)
· No limits to creativity
· No vital body parts exposed
· No talking during competition hour
· Ornaments, accessories and hairpieces
may be used to complete your style
· Models should arrive partially complete,
except for up to 1 hr of finishing look
· Models will be judged on presentation,
execution and total look.
· Entry fee $150
