5 PM 1st
Annual L.A. Black Business Expo Entertainment Industry Summit
Award, Honoring, Lee Bailey Room 308 A
Lee Bailey's Rabercom Enterprises is a communications company
built on the successful standards of purposes, vision, and
drive. Company founder,
Lee Bailey, always had an attraction to radio and that
fascination led him to
become a regular visitor at local radio stations in his hometown
of Pittsburgh. After a four-year stint in the US Air
Force, Lee set out to
begin a career as an on-air personality and with his smooth
melodic
voice, ambition, and talent -- Lee became known as "The Voice."
That voice has
resonated the airwaves of various radio stations throughout the
nation.
Lee worked as a radio announcer in Sacramento and Washington, DC
before
working in Los Angeles at KUTE-FM. His talent also landed
him voice-over
jobs for radio and television commercials for companies
including: Hanna
Barbera, Pacific Bell, Clorox, Mazda, Toyota, Universal,
Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Denny's, ARCO, CBS-TV, KABC-TV, and
many more.
Iin 1983, Lee premiered his flagship syndicated radio program, "RadioScope:
the
Entertainment Magazine of the Air" in 35 US markets and its
primary
division, Bailey Broadcasting Services (BBS), began its journey
of
becoming
known world wide as the "Infotainment Specialists."
And in addition to radio programming, Lee introduced its online
publication,
the Electronic Urban Report (EUR). Stepping into the 21st
Century, Lee
created a dynamic worldwide online presence that shares urban
entertainment
news via the Internet. Spawned from this electronic
magazine, Rabercom
maintains the EURweb (www.eurweb.com), the popular "urban
cyberstation"
with interactive features and departments.
