Nicole Chase has coordinated entertainment for the Expo since 1990.  She has brought many groups like the Black Eyed Peas to the stages before their fame and fortune and has assembled a dynamic crop of talent for the 2005 West Coast Black Music Festival.

Ali Ollie Woodson was first a member of The Drifters before he joined the Temptations from 1977-1979  Harold Melvin and The Blue Notes replacing Teddy Pendergrass as lead singer. In 1987 Ali Ollie Woodson left The Temptations to concentrate his efforts on his career as a soloist. Ollie comments: "If you do a thing well, whether it's soul, blues or rock, you can reach people of different tastes and please them all.
